You'll Love Lake Oconee...

....especially in the Spring! This huge GAPowerCo reservoir, nearly 20,000 acres, is GA's largest lake contained within the State's borders. Ray Charles may never have slept here, but he surely had Oconee on his mind when he penned one of his biggest hits. The dogwoods and redbuds are blooming right now...and the old fishermen (and women) say that, "when the new dogwood leaves get just about the size of a squirrel's ear, the Crappie are gonna' be bitin' soon". Spring is darn near perfect here at the lake....come see for yourself, won't 'ya?

Thanks Megan, its great to have friends! This is going to be one spectacular May weekend on Oconee, and a little rain will make it even better and/or wetter. Frankly, I'm looking for the great real estate rally of '08 to kick-in any day now. Plenty of inventory, great prices, and pent-up emotion for a place at the lake. Mary and I actually do have two showing appointments on Sat....YES! See you soon. J
